1.Our Mission

IRCC News exists to provide accurate, timely, and independent reporting on Canadian immigration policy, IRCC announcements, Express Entry draws, and related topics.

We serve newcomers, applicants, consultants, and legal professionals who rely on trustworthy information to make important decisions.

2.Independence

IRCC News operates independently. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or affiliated organizations.

Sponsored content, when published, is always clearly labelled as such. Paid partnerships do not affect our editorial coverage or positions.

3.Accuracy

We strive to verify all facts before publication. Our primary sources include official IRCC announcements, Government of Canada publications, and direct communications from immigration authorities.

When information is uncertain or developing, we say so clearly. We do not speculate beyond what the available evidence supports.

4.Corrections Policy

If we publish inaccurate information, we correct it promptly and transparently.

Corrections are noted directly in the affected article with an explanation of what changed and why. We do not silently alter published content.

5.Sources

We rely on primary government sources wherever possible. Secondary sources including journalists, researchers, and legal professionals are used when relevant and credible.

Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when there is a clear public interest reason and no alternative.

6.AI-Assisted Content

Some IRCC News articles are drafted or summarized with the assistance of AI tools. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited by a human before publication.

We do not publish AI output without editorial review. Accuracy, tone, and factual integrity remain our responsibility.
